Welcome to our 2023 WestPut Setanta team registration site. Registration is required for all kids to play in the NY Minor Board (NYMB) Leagues, Gaelic4Girls (G4G) Leagues, tournaments, and to participate in all WestPut Setanta GFC practices and games. No Exceptions!! This rule is non-negotiable.
Reminder: All NY GAA clubs have followed guidance from Ireland and switched to "odd" age groups as follows: U7, U9, U11, U13, U15, U17
[ IMPORTANT ]
New this year: For NYMB teams, girls may no longer play "down" 1 year. Girls must be same year as the boys and can only play co-ed up to U13.
WestPut Setanta will be fielding teams at the following codes/ages:
NYMB (co-ed): U7, U9, U11, U13, U15, U17
G4G (girls): U13, U15, U17, NY Ladies Junior
Please fill out all of the fields, including email, cell phone and cell phone carrier (for notification purposes only) to complete the registration process.
Please note the following eligibility requirements:
- Children must be 5 years of age on Jan 1st 2023
- Our youngest members must be attending kindergarten since September 2022
- For members in U7, a parent or guardian is required to be on the field and available to assist at all times for practices and games
During the season we practice twice a week and hope to see all registered players at practice. We understand kids might have conflicts with other sports/activities, but we play in very competitive leagues and our teams need to practice together regularly to compete at the highest levels.
